2) Speaking: practicing agreement/disagreement. Making suggestions and giving reasons
3) Reading: ask questions: what did people do at night without electricity? How did they like it? What will you do if electricity is out one night?
4) Reading: 1. guessing the meaning of life on the go.

1) Listening practice the exercise will be more useful and interesting if you encourage the ss to move beyond the obrious uses of the objects described..

Ⅳ Teaching process:
Step one: warming up.
Learn the new words and expressions. Play the tape for the ss to listen and repeat. Read the words and eXPressions correctly.
step two: revision:
talk about some inventors and inventions.
Edison invented some inventions in his life.
Step three: Warming up
Introduction: this activity provides a good opportunity to talk about creativity and to practise problem solving skills.
Instruction: when the ss have solved the problems, ask them how they did it and compare different solutions. Ask the ss what creativity is and if it is possible to learn how to be creative.
Useful things: encourage the ss to think of as many uses as possible. It is not important if the new use is useful. EXPlain why/ now it will be useful.
Talk box. The emphasis is on having ss eXPlain their choices and solutions.
True or false. Encourage the ss to think of more true or false questions.
Step 4. Listening
Introduction: you will hear description of every objects and are asked to try to guess what is being described.
Instruction: play the tape for the ss to listen carefully and try to guess what is being descried. Discuss how the objects can be used.
Step 5 Feedback. Practise in class
